Dr. Jonathan Friden is a NBEO board certified Optometrist. Dr. Friden is also TMOD certified and licensed to medically treat and manage ocular disease and disorders. Dr. Friden is licensed and certified by the California State Board of Optometry in the diagnosis and medical treatment of glaucoma, a certification that only 4% of optometrists in the state of California currently hold.
Dr. Friden received his undergraduate degree in business and chemistry from Brigham Young University and received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. He has completed internships and further training at the University of Utah School of Medicine Moran Eye Center, The Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Hospital, The David Grant USAF Medical Center, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles.
Dr. Friden is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Golden Empire Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Society. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Jamee, and their four children, Taylor, Nathan, Davis, and Collin.
